Patrick Höijer, CEO of Foxway, has been elected Chairman of the Board of the European Refurbishment Association (EUREFAS). EUREFAS provides an important platform to help shape European policies, standards and market conditions that support refurbishment, reuse and the transition to circular tech. For Foxway, taking an active role in leading the organisation is an important step in contributing to the development of our industry and ensuring that the voice of circular tech is heard across Europe.
EUREFAS brings together European companies active in the refurbishment and reuse of tech. The association works to improve conditions for circular business models by promoting common quality standards, advocating for fair and harmonised legislation, and strengthening dialogue with EU policymakers.

The association plays an important role in bringing our industry together and ensuring that refurbishment and reuse have a strong, unified voice in Europe. Together with the rest of the Board, our members and other industry stakeholders, I want to drive circular policies that work for all members, establish common standards that build trust in refurbished technology and make circular tech a natural first choice for companies and consumers across Europe,” says Patrick Höijer, CEO of Foxway and Chairman of EUREFAS.
Foxway is a founding member of EUREFAS and has been actively involved in the association since it was established. Patrick Höijers appointment as Chairman further strengthens Foxway’s opportunity to contribute industry expertise and help shape the development of a more circular European tech market.
During the coming term, EUREFAS will intensify its dialogue with EU policymakers. Its priorities include strengthening the competitiveness of refurbished products, creating fair regulatory conditions, contributing to the implementation of the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation and advancing a Europe-wide quality label for refurbished tech.
